Gamma Zeta Alpha 2010 National Golf Tournament
Dear Gamma Golfers,
This long awaited email is to notify you that the 6th Annual National Golf Tournament has been set for Friday, September 10, 2010. Our tradition will continue to take place at Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, CA. Please reserve the date on your calendars.
GZAGA and the National Golf Tournament were established to find out who is the best Gamma Golfer and our Golfer of the Year. Our individual champion gets to take home our highly coveted “El Campeon” trophy. There are also several other prizes and trophies to be won: Rookie of the Year, Longest Drive, Straightest Drive, Putting Contest, 4 closest to the pins, Most Improved Player, Best Dressed (yes I said best dressed). In addition, GZAGA for the first time ever, will be including a dinner during our awards ceremony. Our tournament is a BROTHERS ONLY event as membership should have its privileges, (in good standing with GZAGA).
GZAGA hopes to make our sixth annual the best one to date. We want to thank our sponsors from 2009 – the Pulgarin Brothers, (Su Clinica Medica), McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood restaurant gift certificate; Jesse Ojeda, (Ojeda Foundation) for the preferred field level L.A. Dodger tickets; Luis Farias, (Telemundo), Universal Studios tickets; Leonardo Lopez, (La BOOM), Premium Liquor Bottles; George Avila (Alpha Gamma) our Inaugural Grand Marshal and the Delta Active / Alumni Associations for their support.
GZAGA has also decided to utilize our golf tournament to annually spotlight a brother. This year GZAGA has selected to Honor Leo Cortez (Beta FF), as Grand Marshal for the 2010 tournament; a brother who’s dedication and commitment to the organization is unparalleled and who has played an integral role in the growth of GZAGA.
In order to respect your time and money as much as we value ours and to continue to provide the most cost effective tournament possible, GZAGA has set the deadline for the $125 payment for August 8, 2010. You can make a check out to Lopez Consultants and mail it to GZAGA at 3432 Hathaway Avenue Suite 227, Long Beach, CA 90815.
Our Golfinator, Jose Corral (Delta FF), will be sending follow up communications and logistical reminders to help facilitate your individual accommodations. Sponsorships are needed to underwrite our tournament and are open to anyone and are not limited to players.
